Fee for office visit: $120 CDN (60 minute sessions)
Insurance: Psychology fees are not covered by RAMQ but are covered by group insurance plans. Check with your HR department or with your insurance comany to get the details concerning your coverage. After each session, you will receive a receipt that you can submit to the insurance company.
Tax deductible: Psychology services are also income tax deductible. Keep your receipts and claim the as a medical expense when you are filling out your tax returns.
Sliding fee scale: Provisions are made for individuals who do not have the means to pay the full fee. At the first session, we agree on a fee that we can handle. Individuals who are on welfare, employment insurance, or are experiencing grave financial situations can qualify for a substanially-reduced rate.
Cancellations: If for any reason you have to cancel an office appointment, there is no penalty. We will re-schedule the appointment for another mutually agreable time. You can cancel an appointment up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled time.
Fee for telephone and video-conferencing sessions: $90.00 CDN (45 minute sessions)
Payment: For sessions that are via telephone or video-conferencing, the method of payment is throuigh PayPal. Prior to the session, you will recieve an e-mail invoice that you can pay through PayPal using whatever method of payment is available to you. Our scheduled session will be confirmed after the receipt of payment via a return e-mail. It is not necessary for you to have a personal PayPal accouint to make a payment.
